PART 1: Active Shooter
Our comprehensive Active Shooter Training equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively in critical situations. This workshop is designed to maximize your readiness and confidence. Empower yourself and your team with the confidence to act decisively. Participants are given strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. This potentially lifesaving program is open to the public and will address what individuals need to know to look out for their safety.
PART 2: CPR Basics
This introductory workshop will provide foundational training in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and basic first aid from team members at the Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center Emergency Department. Scenarios will include how to respond to medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, bleeding, and shock. The workshop is designed to build your confidence in providing immediate care until professional help arrives.
