This month we welcome Shannon Routh\, Founder of Teal Diva\, as our guest speaker. Shannon was diagnosed with stage 2 clear cell ovarian cancer in 2009 at the age of 32. She went through six rounds of chemotherapy\, finishing on Feb 18\, 2010\, and has been cancer-free since.\n\n\n\nSince founding Teal Diva\, Shannon has established all-inclusive retreats for women battling these cancers\, as well as the Teal Diva Fund at Novant Health Presbyterian Cancer Center. Additionally\, she has coordinated fundraising events such as the Teal Diva 5K in Charlotte\, NC and Charleston\, SC\, Teal Masquerade\, and Cooking For a Cause\, raising over $400\,000 to date.\n\n\n\nEast Coast Wings + Grill of Clemmons will be our caterer.\n\n\n\nFor our monthly giving\, we're asking Chamber members to donate to our Vocational Education Scholarship Award and the Mason H. Hunter Vocational Education Scholarship.
